Cool! OK, but we will need to move with military precision! I am amazed at the Friday night show and that will be too good to miss... I wonder how long it will take us to go from the host restaurant to the track. We would want to be there by 5:30 because who knows how long it will take us to get in. The lines could be huge.

Also, I've been thinking about parking. We likely will not have Carte Blanche like we do at Eddyville... there will likely be clear 'fan' parking and pit parking, which we will want to target (if we can get everyone to fit in there). We may have to work out a shuttle service or something with a cart...

Greg Green was saying that there will likely be enough room for us to set up some chairs near their pit, but got to work this out, too... bp

I'm guessing we are going to want to get Jeff's laps in Friday sometime? WS schedule is no doubt pretty structured. About all Jeff is looking for is to get 3-4 laps in. If there is a slot Saturday to run a class that might work, depends on the caah & ........ We are thinking of slapping the trans out of my car in Jeff's for the event. An automatic will no doubt be more consistent, just have to see how it plays out.

Linda has "SNEEKY PETES" in mind for Fri. dinner. We think it's only about 15-20 min from track.
I like gettin to track about 5-5:30. We'll want to stop by Randy and wish him luck before heading to the seats. With our size group it may take a minute to get seated all together.

I would also like to meet Purple66, and Brent Kepner, if possible.

We'll try to get Bret over to the encampment, depending on his schedule. He's pretty involved with announcing this entire event... Looking forward to seeing that black Camaro scream down the Cordova quarter... bp

Pro Z, I would love to see Jeff run the auto trans. More consistant 4 sure, easier to dial. I'm bettin quicker too, even with the added weight.

Yea Zap, I'd like to see how the trans performs. I don't think it will be much heavier than the 6 spd. The T56 is around 125 or so dry + bell housing & clutch stuff. The 210 is 122 dry + converter & flex plate. Jeff put some aftermarket parts in the T56, added an aftermarket shifter, cut about 2" out of the shifter stick to shorten the sift pattern & it still was slow to shift. I'm thinkin' the 210 will make a sizable difference, but that's why we are givin' it a try. Only 1 way to know for sure. :D

Thats true, only 1 way. I forgot he had a 6 sp, but still i'm suprised the weight seems so close. If you do try the swap, do you have a way to weigh the parts to know for sure the difference?? Only 1 way to know 4 sure... :P

I'm real curious to see the difference in ET.

Zap, the 210 is a little over 20 lbs. lighter than a stock 400TH because the case is shaved & it's got a lot of aluminum internal parts.
