Barb on the road home

Postby Lippy » Mon Jul 17, 2006 2:46 pm

Just talked to Barb, she just left Jerry and Cheryl's house and is rolling down I-80. She is traveling alone so I keep track of her by cell, she has about 7hrs to go! She is one fantastic Lady! And a heck of a good Nitro mixer too! :D
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Yeah, Arnold's had headlight fluid on sale, so Lippy got you a couple of extra quarts...I think he might have put a little in that hemi, too...

It was great meeting you, Barb! That weekend was soooo much the better for having you there with us! Thanks for coming to it!

Barb showed up Saturday afternoon with a couple of buckets of KFC that really hit the spot...we were all drinking water, Pepsis and Gatorade constantly...nobody seemed to let the heat get the best of 'em, thank God...but I went over and got a piece of chicken and it sure did help!

Be safe and get some rest when you get back! Cheers, WC1
