That is something I saw that I also thought about..."Kum & Go"...The Citykings CD "Four Lifetimes" has that phrase as a reference in Bill's song, "America":

You're the only woman that I know
That'll let me Kum and let me go
You're strong enough to stand on your own
You don't need a man to lean on
And your heart is made of gold

Heck, that's pretty much the Barb we met, ain't it, fellas?

Every Kum & Go I saw, I thought about that song...glad you made it back home safe and sound, Barb! It was great meeting you! Now all we gotta do is get Billy back and we're all there...
Cheers, WC1

Glad Barb is on her way back safely. We are at Denise's parents' house in Sterling, Colorado. Had a long drive yesterday. A/C gave out in the van, though. We just rolled down all the windows, cranked the tunes, and sang along. That was Emily and me. Denise rode with her sister Dynell in another van. I dropped off after dinner last night and I'm just now seeing the light of day again. I needed one huge catch up nap after the last week! bp

Looks like I'm stuck in this dump another day   The NITROvan is still in the shop and getting it's much needed inspection .. it was only due last November!!!!

Lippy, awesome job on the Caddy repair .. worked like a charm. Stopped at a friends on the way home (crewchief on Doug Foley's T/F'er) and when asked if everythingy worked I tapped on the cover .. it stayed put and was still full of fluid!! 8)

Hope to get back on the road tomorrow .. I'd rather be anywhere but here .. EXCEPT on a bus :P

While I'm thinkin about it .. did anyone get a picture of Randy when I gave him his frosted brownies?

Glad you're safe and sound, Barb, and I hope you're clocking less than 93 degrees in the old pad at this point. We have a few photos to upload... gotta get them pulled out. We still haven't really unpacked from the trip yet... I have a LOT of catching up to do on the computer this week! bp

Thanks, Lippy! We are OK... Emily was having a blast. We sang Tom Petty, Beatles, B-52s, Kinks, and whatever else popped up on the iPod...

Emily was happy because she finally got a trucker to honk his horn at her. She'd been trying to get them to do it the entire trip, but was unsuccessful. We finally figured out that they couldn't see her through the van's tinted windows! Now that she was in the passenger seat, she flashed him a smile and waved, then did the "international signal" of two pulls in the air. The Wal Mart trucker obliged with a big smile and two blasts of what sounded like a train horn! Shortly after that, we arrived and grampa and grandma's house for a well needed rest and nice A/C. bp

Heck there weren't no brownies when I finally got to the table. I was to busy looking at all the cars.
I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new.
