Thank you BP and Denise for all you do! Thank you Gary for the pictures and the lettering!! The Grundy/Bocka 23T looks great!!
So happy the WC1 was able to make the trip, getting the opportunity to play some music with a great musician just down right pegs the "cool" meter!! Thanks John!
It's a very humbling feeling to be friends with such a great group of people.

Kudo's to Heidi and Zap for guessing my 8.74 ET, unbelievable!!! Now pick the winning lotto numbers!! So glad that I was able to get one good pass out of 3!! LOL!

Sharon and I were discussing the highlights of the trip and several came to mind. The Sushi lunch with bp, Jason and Cat. The dinner at the steak house where Zappy had me in tears of laughter. The cool room in the tower where we all shared conversation and food. Tia the Queen of the party and her fiance, what a good looking and personable couple. I think they were both blown away with the races and probably think that us old guys are totally crazy. Young Will who told me he really enjoyed the experience of drag racing. Way too many miles of walking (I think Sharon would have made a good drill Sargent) but the heat wasn't as brutal as last year. Oh and food!!! Do you think we had enough? Alexa (?) the magic sphere of knowledge who would only play country songs on demand from Yappy. Thanks for the nickname bp. Gary's pictures not only of the drags but of Gettysburg were fabulous and deserving of National Geographic honors. Ohio Dave shooting wheelstands and Daryl in motion. The young'in frog jumping his altered then setting an ET and MPH best. Me picking on LL and getting the same in return. Boyd and Mrs. Bling (calling me chicken legs, you are to respect your elders young lady) talking to us. The multiple kneezeles picture. Floopers flooping their bodies, tire smoke, loud pipes, near misses with the retaining wall, spewing oil & gas on the track, cars on their rear bumpers, stick shifters banging the gears like years of old, gassers - altereds - funnies - and all. Where could we go to see more than this? Not enough time for socializing in the moment, which needs to be addressed, and yet what an amazing time for all to remember as friends and members of the family of Draglist. Thank you all for the love and friendship we enjoyed so much. God bless from Gorilli and Yappy.

Jeff & I got home a little before 2pm today. Turns out the living room window really didn't survive, so Cheryl & I made a road trip to Menards to see what our options are. They have the measurements so now we just have to wait to hear back from the manufacturer. (Day or 2 I hope). We'd like to make a couple changes, but that might not be possible without changing the window size. That would be bad because the inside trim is all CNC cut stuff & the wall is frame & panel oak. A lot has changed around here in a week. Another house is down, but several have started siding, including our next door neighbor.
Well... I digress.
Jeff & I had a great time. Missed not having Cheryl along, did I mention this is the first vacation we've been apart in almost 40 years? The time seems to go by way too fast. It was fun taking pictures down by the track. I'll post some once I get settled in & get the sign schedule sorted out, tomorrow it's back to the grind. But hey, I get tot take another trip next month, this time with Cheryl, on our anniversary vacation to (!@#$%^&*). I expect that will be fun too. :D

BP got the group together for a shot in front of the winner's circle. Daryl & Heidi were busy with the 23T so you just never knew when or where they would pop up.

Thought I'd post a few Holocaust images. It was a sobering experience, trying to understand how human beings could do this to fellow human beings.

Cool fog pictures also!! It would have been freaky if that fog would have a faint smell of black powder from cannons and muskets!!
