Hi, all! Just got here a few minutes ago and so did sister Judy and Bill. Coming from two completely different directions and leaving at completely different times and got here within 5 minutes of one another! bp

Excellent timing, BP, as always!

I'll be pulling into the Ramada Inn Friday around 3 PM...will run into somebody when I walk in, I'm sure!

This may be off-topic, but I gotta say: Tonight was special. The Citykings have reunited and are back on a schedule!
We are going to record a second album and find some shows to play here and there. We were all a little rusty, but once
we started playing, the magic was still there. My paws are a little sore, but once my callouses come back, it's on!

See y'all tomorrow, WC1

That's great, John! We will definitely see you then. Bret is hitting town about 4pm too and said he would join us for dinner. Bill

Sounds like everything is on track. I don't have the right stuff loaded on the laptop to process NEFF files from the new camera so about all I have to work with are the JPG versions. Here's a 3 shot pano of the boat from last night. It was a fun night. Great to meet Judy & Bill. Looking forward to a great (hopefully dry Weekend).

It was terrific. Thanks to all for a wonderful time. Linda and Zappy did us proud with great recommendations and setup. Jack and Sharon had huge input into our entertainment as well. Gary, that plaque was simply amazing. Thanks as always for the great banner and decals. Thanks to everyone else for traveling so far. Looking forward to next year! bp

Whoa, what a weekend. Thursday's river boat dining and the cruise was cool and interesting then the trip to the top of the hill on the incline and oh what a stunning view it is, Friday night at the steak house filled everyone up. The girls returning from their shopping trip and getting into the track without paying.. must have been all that feminine charm oozing from the van when they pulled in... or he didn't want to say "Yes dear" that many times? Gary's Draglist banner, coasters, Draglist stickers and Bills' amazing Laser cut plaque. Gary you are the best. Genna's sassy display, Zappy's tale of man boobs, seeing the ever elusive Bandit, watching Rocky run some of his best times, Sharon's acrobatics and Zappy too, Ohio Dave's presence for but a brief time, Denise hanging on the bleachers from back pain ( I can relate to that) and then the fireworks show was a blast... pun intended, The Saturday racing was really good with passes of a triple zero reaction time, a 7.00 ET on a 7.00 index, and driving from ditch to ditch within his own side of the race track. That guy must have driven about a 1/2 mile in the quarter mile!!!! Lady Linda's spaghetti diner with the Italian waiter serving everyone and then Heidi's crack fudge to top off the evening. Daryl's green Mini Pete golf cart pulling the funny car to the starting line and hours of talking for all of us. 29 funny cars all in one place and not one oil down or massive engine destruction. Sweet. The Sunday morning farewell breakfast with many of us lingering for hours talking and not wanting to part company but Gary did a burnout with his new electric powered Chevy in the motel parking lot to send us on our way. Four days seemed like only hours but we will repeat it next year to make more memories. Thanks kids, the old guy really enjoyed himself... well all except the broken wife part. Oh and not to forget, Denny's hospitality for our Draglist crew, thank you Denny, I hope the spaghetti dinner in some way repaid you for your generosity towards our group of Draglisters?

We had some fun for sure Jack. I'll post photos as I have time. Since Photobucket changed the rules a massive upload won't happen, at least 'til I have time to find another site. Here's a few people & pre-race festivities.
