Drag List 2007 Dates??????

Postby Rapid Randy Baker » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:33 am

Hey gang, I know we have to clear it with the track on the date, but throw some ideas out on what time of year works? BP, will be home soon, and can check in on this also.

Gator has a deal like the 1st week of July, he could post the dates we can't have it as he has to be at this one!!

Fall?

Spring?

Mid-Summer?

Randy....I'm open for any of the above....but lean more towards the spring (or even the fall)....potentially cooler temperatures....and less mini helychoppers flyin in our hair  .............Pencil me in on ALL ballots  8)

I'd go for the cooler closer to spring or fall dates too. Spring can be a problem with rain tho. Cheryl mentioned somethin' about gettin' a tent (If that's doable). There will no doubt be more people next year & we might run otta' shady places to hide from the sun. I'm open to whatever we come up with.

I'm at Jer and Cheryl's right now... will be home this weekend and can start to think about it more. Have to find out the dates for York, but I'm sure Darwin Doll and Bill Stiles already have that set... I'm pretty open, too. Got to get out of vacation mode and get the noggin working again! bp

I would like a date in the fall better. If I would have been at Eddyville you guys would have been puting me in a box. Can't deal with that kind of heat. 8)

Randy, sure as heck if I said when, it would rain, blow, hail, ect... When is a good time weather wise there?
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Cooler is gooder. I have quite a full plate towards the end of the season, but I'd miss something around here to go there.
