Due to the deteriorating weather conditions we are forced to cancel tomorrows HangoverFest. While we made every effort to get the event in, the 4 – 6 inches of snow combined with the strong winds and cold temperatures predicted overnight and into tomorrow have made this event to unsafe for our customers and employees.

That's too bad, but we finally got a WINTER this year... bp

1st time in 7 years we couldnt beat the elements...

I swear I was planning to head out at 5 AM. Figures!

Last time Mr. Dirt raced in the snow was at Noble, OK, in 1993 and, with Cordova's forecast of 16 degrees, it probably would've been one of the coldest races ever if not THE record-holder.

I was in Colorado last week and it felt like being back in Ohio in the 70s. It was below zero every night. Haven't seen that sort of weather in years. Are they going to reschedule the Cordova race (although the name is pretty much lost the farther away from New Year's that you get). bp

There are no plans to reschedule...Next outing for Cordova will be the Banquet on Feb 9...
