See Through oil filter assemblies allow the user to visually see the oil pumping through the filter, to help determine the condition of the oil. These filter assemblies can also be quickly drained, just apply a small shot of air to the air fitting on the filter. The oil will empty out of the filter assembly in seconds exposing the filter element without draining or leaking any oil, unbolting or loosening any fasteners or fittings and without the loss of any oil out of the system. This allows the user to visually see any particles that were filtered out of the oil. This helps to determine if they are from normal use or from bearings or other components excessively wearing in the engine. All Filter Assemblies are equipped with a Pressure Relief valve. Max working pressure is 150 psi with a max temp of 200 degrees.

The 6” and 4” Screw On Filer Assemblies were designed for motor sports ran on dirt and other applications where the user wants to filter microscopic and dust particles out of the oil system. This filter assembly is also the best choice for marine and street use. The fluid first flows through the See Through Filter in which the filter element traps all the larger particles which can be viewed and inspected while the microscopic particles flow into the disposable filter and are filtered out of the oil system. This assembly is machined with a recessed groove on the bottom side in which the disposable filter’s rubber seal fits into. Which helps prevent the seal on the disposable filter from blowing out or failing!
