Attention all Chevy fans - hot on the heels of Benoit Pigeon's fifth page comes - you've guessed it - his sixth page. These pictures were taken at the Super Chevy Show held at Virginia Motorsports Park, Dinwiddie. There was a good field of Extreme Outlaw Pro Mods supported by sportsman racers and a jet funny car. This link will take you right there http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... on_06.html

Benoit Pigeon attended the recent Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals held at Bristol Dragway on behalf of The Acceleration Archive. As usual he was taking pictures for all he was worth and you can see the cream of the crop at http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... on_07.html

The Acceleration Archive's roving reporter Roger Gorringe was at the CHRR with his camera at the ready. You can see Roger's illustrated report by clicking on this link http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... /CHRR.html

Roger Gorringe, The Acceleration Archive's other US correspondent, has been very busy on your side of the pond.
He has attended and reported upon :

- the California Hot Rod Reunion - http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... /CHRR.html

- the Toyota Nationals http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... onals.html

- the Auto Club Finals http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... inals.html

- the SEMA and AAPEX shows http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... /sema.html, and finally

- the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Series World Finals http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... drags.html

I gather he intends to put his feet up when the jet-lag wears off!

I have just posted a page in the Readers' Gallery section which should be of interest to US readers. There are some UK shots at the top, but this is followed by several pictures of top US cars of the 1970s and '80s. There are also a number of shots of Russ Collins' rear engine Top Fuel Bike dating from 1982 which he called Battlestar.
This link takes you straight to the page http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... ry_32.html

Thanks, Alan! Hey, did you see the question from a fellow Brit in the What's Up section?

They are asking if there is a travel agency in the UK that specializes in trips to drag racing events in the US.

Got any idea? Thanks! Bill

I am doing a long running piece on the restoration of Veney's Vega by ex-pat Brits Pat and Linda Neal now resident in Canada. You can view the two page article starting with page 1 at http://www.theaccelerationarchive.co.uk ... ga_01.html
