That "seat" shot is pretty neat....the next shot emphathizes that the motor is offset to the passenger side as well...Cool Stuff! 8)

Good Eyes, the engine did sit two inches off center to the right !

Tom Smith had a theory about off setting the driver and engine. I don't know if it would work, but they don't do it today or since then and this car never went straight, so I guess it kind of speaks for itself !

LOL....Guess you had to try things out to see if they worked or not....kinda like Gary Ormsby's wedge shaped t/f'r or Garlits' "Sidewinder"... We didn't have the availability of cnc programs and concept software to try different stuff out...all "let's try THIS trick" technology :wink: 8)

Something else that was tried by Tom Smith in the Williams and Bohl "Super Challenger".....Corvette rear end with drive shafts for axles......
