Brooklyn Heavy/Dick Harrell photos?

Postby dragracinrs » Sun Feb 03, 2008 10:02 am

Hello everyone... I have recently purchased Dick Harrell's/Brooklyn Heavy's C30 Ramp truck. This is the small sleeper truck with a 350 in it. It is in remarkable shape for a 38 year old truck. Showing 44k on it and has it's orig. hoses, headlights and most of the tires. I am looking for pics of when Dick and Heavy had it. I met with Heavy recently and gathered what he had of it, but most are partial shots with the car being the focal point of course.
Also looking for pics of any Heavy cars to ad to the display board I will construct to show with the truck.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated as always.
Thanks,
Brian

........a couple of obvious people come to mind: Pat Musi, who ran a Heavy Camero in '76. Also the Mopar Action people: Cliff Gromer and the Brunt Bros. The 'Brothers' wrote some very explicit descriptions of BH's scene some years back.....

My uncle owned the truck at one time...I can ask him if he has any pictures of it. Is there anything else you wanted to know about the truck?

Thanks and welcome the group, Jason. We are looking forward to hearing tales about your uncle Carmen, who raced both Mopars and a Vega in the tough 70s Northeast Pro Stock action. bp

Thanks for the warm welcome...

I was at most of the races back in the racing days...although in a stroller lol

I am far from an expert on this stuff like you guys are, but I can hold my own in a conversation about the subjects.

I am glad i found the site and look forward to shooting the sh*t w. everyone.

thanks again
