Looking for Tony Defeo

Postby zedoctor » Sat Jun 10, 2006 3:03 pm

I am trying to track down either Tony Defeo or Cliff Gromer.
If you know their names, you know their history.
Can anybody help?

Thanks;
Doc

CARS mag guys

Tony was building bikes in a small Staten Isl. garage last I heard. Cliff is still very heavy into his MOPAR ACTION mag and contributes to Drag Racing Online. Jeff Burk should help if his posted email doesn't get you connected. These two wrote with a rare combo of high energy humor and passion..and brought me out of a mid-'80's funk back into our sport. Cliff is still doing fantastic work...and we ALL miss Tony...

Tony has been posting at the Classic Funny Car board recently.
His screen name is White Punks On Nitro.

Tony was with us at Rockingham on North Carolina on the last day in September. We ran a front engine nitro hemi dragster that day getting qualified for an IHRA liscence. He was on the crew. Sorry that I don't have his e-mail address for you.
