Mr. Goodvibes

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

Mr. Goodvibes has been knocking stuff over. Twice today...I'm sitting here minding my own business and the presents I just wrapped got knocked over onto the floor...2 feet away from me...just a little while ago I was walking through the kitchen (wife and sister-in-law are preparing a feast) and I was very careful not to touch anything. I passed the dish counter safely and a dish got knocked off the top of the stack behind me. Nobody was anywhere near it. They turned around and looked at me... I put my hands up and said "I didn't touch anything!" He's following me around, I tellya! Merry Christmas, WC1

Seems like the activity increases when there are new folks around... bp

I spend several hours a day here by myself...only I know I'm not by myself. Mr. Goodvibes has been raising hell in the upstairs hall. Sometimes he stomps up and down the stairs, but he hasn't been near me in the Shrine to Bad Taste during the day. Stuff gets knocked over. Doors slam. He's letting me know he's up there and I leave him alone. I have to make the trip up to me & Debby's bathroom every day between 3 and 4 PM to take my daily shower, and walking through the hall is like a spook ride. he knows I'm coming. I walk through there and I get a chill. I can feel him right next to me. It's a weird part of buying a house; I didn't expect it to be haunted, to say the least. Nick confided to me recently that he's seen the other one, too. The lady with the long dark hair. I haven't seen her, and I'm not looking forward to that encounter, but she's approached Nick several times. At least I can say nobody has been hurt. Just startled and a little spooked at times. Best, WC1

Strange but interesting. We had the same phenomena at our apartment in Cleveland when I was a kid. Every member of the house was aware of it. Would be so cool to figure it out. bp

Last night at 3 AM I woke up needing to tap a kidney. Nothing new for me, happens every night. So I get up and go to the bathroom. When I stood at the sink and washed my hands, I looked up into the mirror and there he was, standing behind me. I gasped and screamed. He disappeared. It was a dark, blacked-out apparition. Visible for about a second, just long enough to scare the daylights out of me. I'm sure I made his day!
