Tell me about your kids...

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

My youngest son Nick's band, Chironex. They're a duo (with a bass player debuting soon...no vocals) and they play zero clubs downtown a few times a week.
Note: a zero club opens when the other clubs close...they usually play from 2-6 AM...to big crowds. I never would have imagined Nick doing this, but they're successful...doing
their own music their own way. In my world, it doesn't get any better than that.

Their music is here:

Some of you folks might have heard them playing in the background (they practice in the garage here) through my mic on various "Racin' and Rockin'" shows...
Cheers, WC1

That is so great, John. Looking forward to watching these videos!

Emily surprised us last night. She had her last high school concert. If featured a great piece with her and her fellow cellist doing some amazing solo work.

The other cellist's dad took video, so I'll post something as soon as i get my hands on it.

Ever the hippie, she did the entire concert barefooted... typical Emily. bp

as usual, I;m a late contributor to this thread...better late than never though, right...Congrats to Emily AND Jason. BP, I KNOW you are a proud Papa.
Today, I fall in that Proud Papa catagory as well...later tonight (8:oo pm eastern)my son Jordan will take his final steps at Cairo High School. He and nearly 250 other Graduates will turn tassels in front of a football stadium packed with friends, family and general well wishers. I better make sure I have a tissue handy...not only for his mama, but probably for me too. (I cain't hep it that I can cry during Maxwell House comercials...LOL)
