What's on the Jukebox?

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

Been listening to a Blues Channel on the satellite dish lately. Since I'm "home alone" there's nobody to object to my choice of music except the dogs who don't seem to care what's playing.........

Well, I'm kind of a computer nerd. Not the coolest thing on the planet but it pays the bills.

Anyway, I have two servers on my home network and my garage is also networked. One of my servers hosts all of my music, much of it loaded in from LP's.

Today in the garage it was a mix that ranged from Glenn Miller to Stevie Ray Vaughn, along with Robin Trower and Molly Hatchett thrown in to keep things balanced.

I have a radio in the garage too, but I don't think I've turned it on once in the past two years.

OK, Murff, you are officially IN around here! I'm about one more free Saturday from having the house wired up to my kids' computer, where we have all the MP3s. I moved the stereo into the home office, too, and soon will begin ripping all the old albums to MP3, too. I'm digging some Led Zeppelin in Comcast On Demand tonight. Great stuff, some from the good old days, some from the November London concert. Still sounds pretty damn good. I think that's Bonham's kid Jason on the drums in the new version... bp

Welcome to the music thread Murff. Love the avatar!! Back in the day I must have had every one of the Freak Bros comic books. I wonder where they went?

Holiday music channel on the satellite dish. Pretty good stuff actually - almost any artist you can imagine singing Xmas carols.
