We've played so many shows in the last month I don't even remember all of them...we've been going like mad. I've also been playing keyboards in a couple of other bands outside of the Pee Wee Bowen Band schedule. Today we played a benefit at Katie's in Bacliff down on the Bay for a guy named Terrence who was injured in a motorcycle accident. Tommie Lee was there and it was great to see her and even better to hear her sing, my God she is incredible. We played one set. Andy Eng took some pictures, here is one he put on Facebook, it was there when I got home a little while ago. The DragList sticker didn't show up too good in the picture but it's still there. Pee Wee had me sing almost half of the songs we did! He was exceedingly generous in the material distribution department today. Anyway, here's WildcatOne in action with the Pee Wee Bowen Band today. Cheers, WC1

Thanks, I just noticed the way my guitar strap runs across my shirt, in the photo, it looks like I'm wearing a Garth Brooks wearing sunglasses t-shirt or something but that's not what it is...

I just remembered we played at a car show yesterday in Sugar Land. It was a NASTY day but a surprising turnout and some pretty cars were on display. Plus, we got paid. The Phantom Kruisers showed up and we had fun. I took pictures of all the cars except the current-day showroom-type cars. There was an annoying new BMW that the guy loved to fire up and rev the engine, it sounded ridiculous. The Phantoms shook the ground when they rolled in. Cheers, WC1

Me too on the strap, Cat.....

I saw that little lady in the Bug this morning when I was taking Jordan to school....it appears that she has scuffed her little ride, because the driver's side headlight is pointing towards the ground and the fender is crunched

Thought I'd log in and make a post...I'm sitting in the lobby of the Galvez Hotel on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston, it's a little after
6 and we don't play till 7:30. We went and stood on the seawall and watched the waves come in. It's a wedding here tonight, a triple-scale gig at a beautiful place. I'm wearing a tuxedo. Just went up the hall to the old Grecian Room, which is now called the Music Hall. I recalled my high school prom in 1967 was in that room. I remembered that night and that I was loved and I was in love. It was a beautiful time; I've cherished the memory of that night, and there I was back in that very same room It was 42 years ago. Well, life goes on. I have everything set up and some time to kill so I thought I'd drop in for a minute. They have free internet here in the lobby, what the heck. There's a little Pakistani guy in the main room playing solo piano who has been here forever. He's a medical researcher at UTMB. Debby and I stayed here one weekend in 1984 and he was in there playing just like he is tonight. Everybody have a great weekend! Cheers, WC1

Sorry to hear the lady's Bug got scraped, Billy. They seem to attrack scuffs and scratches! Cat

Gotta run. Adios
