The machinist put the Hard Block in... I was supposed to pick up the block and rods... But with the weater being cold in So Cal lately, it was able to harden up quick enough. So Monday, it **should** be done.

It sounds as though this a common procedure to do, to use hard block. I've never heard of anyone doing so. This forum is GREAT! Thanks again to everyone!

8) listen to Wally.. Mr.Gator...... the best answers.... did 1 walk around yesterday at Gateway.... best est. was 60/40 with radiators.... have no idea who was running gas / alch. or who's block was filled or not.... just an observation of what was in the lanes at the time...
