was wondering how much force ( air pressure or spring pressure) has to be applied to the lenco shifter arm to keep it in place when going to high gear ? and what size ports do they use on the air cans and shifter mechs . and what is the minimum operating pressure ?

Stimpy,..
I know the air bottles for the lenco are kept filled above
500 psi minimum, typically around 800 psi, but
the air pod on the lenco only needs like 140-150 psi to hold its
shift forks. the bottle also supply`s air to timers, or other
managment systems. ..1/4 inch fittings, high psi plastic lines

thanks vic ,I thought the operating pressure at the piston end was around 120 psi so its application/holding force should be in the range of 1000 pounds(calculated ) well I guess that blows that Idea ... back to the drawing board
