name that rod

I thought I'd throw this out for you guys to chew on...

I've got a set of rods that I got when I bought the original Donovan engine package. They're beautiful looking rods, but they have no name on them. I'm trying to figure out whose they are.

(I know - where's the pictures - I'll get some tonight...)

They are completely machined - the scallops in the sides of the beam are machined out, not cast. They're pretty 'billet' looking. The shape of the scallops look very similar to a Brooks rod.

I've never seen a Brooks B-2 rod, but I've heard they're billet. Could these be B-2's? Does a B-2 rod say 'Brooks' on it anywhere?
