Shocks, and other questions for you all

Time to replace the front shock on my 1970 Monte. Just wondered what you guys would recommend. Has a 421 small block, weighs 3850 lbs. best run was 10.77 @ 123.
I also need larger header but nobody nakes them to fit that body style. we picked up 13 h.p by going from 1 5/8 to 1 3/4-7/8 step headers on the dyno. The weird thig was that we only picked up 7 h.p. going from a 750 race Demon to a 1050 Dominator. We think the cam is too big.

buy yourself a weldup kit in the size you desire and go to hacking on em.....it may be a little agravating, but it is the ONLY way (without going to a professional header builder...$$$) that you are going to get what you want.

If your suspension is basically stock you should try front shocks for a big block Chevelle Super/Stock combination. Most of those guys had the whole stock bodied race shock thing figured out years ago.
