I have M/T ET drag slicks 29.5 x 10.5 x 15 and I'm wondering how much they will grow in diameter as I run it?

How fast do you plan to go?

Yes, that is the question. At this point I'm not really sure how fast the car will go. I posted this question and then went to the M/T website and found this:

Over all diameter will affect the amount of growth that you will have. There are many variables that contribute to tire growth as well. Unless otherwise noted, Mickey Thompson drag slicks are considered a low growth tire. Mickey Thompson slicks will grow approximately 1 to 1 ½ @ 150mph (Note: Radial slicks do not grow). Please phone us and we can help you in determining tire growth for your specific application.)

I guess I answered my own question.

Low growth my hind leg  ...I run 33x10.5x15 Mickey's on 15 wide Welds on my play toy, and let me tell ya...those things grow a considerable amount...upwards of 3 to 4 inches. It 'may' be due to the rim width I have them on, I really don't know.

Engine specs/tranny ratios/rear gear ratio will all factor in when determining e.t.s....Good Luck with your project 8)
