Rear gear with a PG?

Postby Whatnow » Sun Nov 14, 2010 9:03 pm

This may be a mutiple question so here goes.

I would like to know what rearend gear would work well with a Powerglide in a 3000lbs. or less car. I've looked at SLR and some of the formulas on the interenet and I'm left confused.

Here are some specifications of the car. 1970 Chevelle on a huge diet, 383 stroker well built running with about 13.1 compression, 4.11 rearend gears, and 28 x 10.5 slicks. If additional info is needed please let me know.

OK, I estimate around 550+ on the horsepower and I have Spohn four link suspension.
