He was always a pleasant character. Seemed genuine... farewell to another guy who contributed to our ideas of small town America. bp

That's something how George Lindsey turned his TV character into such a long running success... And yes, his actor portrayal was a wholesome interpretation of "small town" Americana, an aspect of our culture that unfortunately seems to be fleeting... Rest In Peace... Diana
