One style of filter is an oil filter adapter also called the Screw-On Filter Assembly. In which the base is set up to receive a screw on disposable filter. The main reason for developing this version of filter is for applications where microscopic particles need to be filtered out of the fluid system. The fluid is first pumped through the See Through Filter then through a 4" filter element, which traps any visible particles filtered out of the fluid, then the fluid flows into the disposable filter and out of the filter assembly back to the motor.
Also have a Fuel Filter that has a water separator screwed to the bottom.
Another style is the 4" Hi-Flow Filter Assembly which has #12 inlet and outlet openings. This filter is designed to flow fluids through a 5/8" inside diameter hose or smaller.
The other 4" filter is the Transmission or Fuel Filter Assembly which has #8 inlet and outlet openings. The base is made out of 1" thick aluminum so this filter is less than 3 pounds! This filter is designed to flow fluids through a 1/2" inside diameter hose or smaller.
All the filters are equipped with a pressure relief valve which will bypass fluid through the Filter Assembly even if the filter element were to plug up completely.
Mounting Brackets are also available! 2 different styles; one will mount to a flat surface or the other will be able to angle the bracket to make the filter top flat. Will also be making different size tube mounting brackets!
