Thanks ZAP
You are really making progress lately, Gary. When do you think it will roll out of the garage? bp
Hopefully sometime this week.

It's going a little slower than I had hoped. I didn't get started until noon (had meetings this morning). Then this afternoon I had to do an emergency job for a guy.

I got a start on the console. I decided in the long run it would be easier to just start from scratch, so I made a pattern & started cuttin' & bending'.

I'm not going to have the time to make it fancy, but hopefully it will be functional.

Fancy is for car shows - functional is for the race track. Functional beats fancy everytime. Besides, BP is right, it looks GOOTA!!!

Yup. I'll work on them first of the week. We are headed out of town for the weekend. I can bring them to Cordova. When do you guys plan to be there? We'll be there Thursday.

Sure picked a bad weekend to go back to Iowa. We'll be thrashin' all next week. Goota' thing Jeff is on vacation starting Monday.

Image

trans is all in but for the spacer for the tail shaft housing mount.

Image

Shifter is all in but for the CO2 bottle mount.

Gotta install the trans cooler & lines yet. Make a bracket to reposition the NO2 solenoids. Make a bracket for the trans dip stick.

And then there's about a half page of punch list stuff to do.
