He was my favorite in many roles (athlete, actor, sports commentator), but his Monday Night Football performances were what I really looked forward to. They were some of the best live TV I ever witnessed.

He was fun. I actually read the book he wrote about football and how he was recruited, etc. It was a very interesting look into that world. Farewell, Mongo. bp
