A few updates but not much to report,..

Chassis will cert to 6.0 and slower with the addition of one more bar for the rear end "K" bracing,. need to do a few clam shell repairs where the chassis had a crack and where someone got happy with a die grinder, also need to realign rear end housing it is off by 3/16ths,.Have not got into any money spending as yet just some cleaning and mocking up a few things to see what is what etc,. so without no money spent here are a couple of pictures that just shows the Love of having a flopper again.
Yes that is a small block chevy in there,..lmao.

Thanks Bill and Wheelzman,.. 8) ,..............

This just came this evening ,...........the 1st draft of portioned chassis and body together courtesy of Al Meadows who is
doing the rendering of what the corvair paint scheme will look like,.there will be a couple of edits and fine tuning to this sketch to get it to
perfection as we will see it, but for Al`s first draft it is Awesome.
Al is a great artist, and has excellent credentials and race car painting history and such,...stay tuned for more..

Wow. That is great! So will you run the Corvair for racing but mount the Nova body for certain displays? Or will the Corvair have the Flyin' Phil paint scheme? Thanks. bp

Alright all right all right,.....

Slick Vic aka " The Bic Filler Show " is back at it,..I have Purchased another funny car just this last weekend to start the next adventure into the Dark Side of Funny Car exhibition/Racing on Nitro,...
The car is a 1972 Dodge Demon on a 1977 Jack Slavik 118" wb chassis, Car was last ran by Lou Sygro,...
Still deciding on which motor combo I will run but will either be Injected or Vintage blown fuel......
I will post up more as I progress on this Dream come true.

nice find vic , only one thing , Doge only made the Demon in 1971-72 after that it was called the dart sport and went back to the side slit lights . just to let you know the original style decals and metal embelms are still made ( better than the fiat crap ones ) , hemi I presume , as a 340 6pack or a 225 won't cut the mustard ( yes the demon came with a 225 I had 2 of them ).. I still have the tail pan from the 340/6pack car that was stolen and cut up . be prepared for people to call it a mustang ... :?
