The cheapest I saw yesterday was $1.59 here. I bet the truckers are loving these prices with diesel dropping too. I haven't checked airline prices but I don't think they have cut back their prices? They have to be saving millions in fuel costs now.

Sharon told me she saw $1.33 on her way home last night.
On CNBC yesterday oil hit below $30 a barrel compared to June 2008 of a little over $136.00 a barrel. Chesapeake Energy is one of the biggest hitters here in Ohio with the fracking operations and it is in deep trouble. I wonder if all of the people who sold them their land will be in for a nasty surprise?

Yea, as nice as it is at the pump, one has to wonder what this will do to the world economy in the long run. I guess one good byproduct is ISIS is loosing oil revenue.

OPEC is trying to bankrupt all of the American oil producers so that they can recapture the stranglehold on the oil industry. CNBC reported that 30% of the American and Canadian oil companies would be gone by the end of 2016. Enjoy it at the pump while you can because this is just a temporary thing.

It was up to $1.99 earlier in the week but I filled the tank in the cruise ship at $1.78 this morning. Watched the stocks and oil went up several points so get ready for the gasoline whipping post. :(
