Not sure whats on the schedule for Quaker City. Nothing on the schedule for 2017 yet. My guess is Quaker will still have the Nostalgia Classic Memorial weekend. Just no funny's.

Okay, I searched for accommodations near Keystone Raceway and one motel with no website so if we want to do the Funny's it will be questionable. If you guys still want to come to Ohio and we can get the teachers shipped in on Friday we could extend the Nats to the following week on Tuesday or beyond. We would still have the Rock Hall of Fame, Amish food and tours, etc. Tell me what dates are good for all of youz guyz and I will set it up. I need INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I'm O.K. with whatever the group decides. Just need to nail it down for the reservations and time off work side of the deal.
15th Annual DRAGLIST Nationals Sometime in 2020. Somewhere in the USA.

Well for my 2cents.....32+ nostalgia floppers is pretty hard to pass up. (2) It's the tracks 50th anniversary so who knows what else they'll book in ?? (3) If it's near Philadelphia there should be lots to sightsee, and loads of hotels & restaurants, I would think.......? (4) July makes it much more doable for our teachers.

Quaker is calling theirs a nostalgia show, but no details.

If we're gonna start voting......put LL & Zap down for KEYSTONE

The funny car nats has always been a added addition to Quakers Nostalgia Classic race. A race within a race per say. I checked yesterday with our group the slingshots and as far as I know we are booked to run Memorial weekend. Now there could be a few GLNFCC booked in for that day too.

Zappy, just so ya know, Pittsburgh is not near Philadelphia at all. Probably 6-7 hr east of Pitts..

I vote for the FC Nats.in July.

Hi all, hope everyone had good holidays. Have not been on in awhile, transitioned into a new job yesterday and had all the fun of closing up old facility over the past few months. Track looks to be less than an hour east of Pittsburgh. Should be plenty of hotels, restaurants etc. around there. Staying there is fine with me, but will throw out just for conversation Night Under Fire at Norwalk - 32 Nostalgia cars at Pittsburgh or Nitro, gassers, other stuff, jets and fireworks at Norwalk

OD.

Zappy, Keystone is about 1 hour east of Pittsburgh and 4 hours west of Philadelphia.
Keystone has one motel, Oasis motel, in the vicinity and any accommodations other than that is an hour away. I like the floppers too (had to add floppers to the dictionary) but since we have nobody in the area it may be a chore to set this one up. As Dave said the Night of Fire is a big show but it is a nightmare of people and I think we may get lost in the shuffle. Let everyone chime in and tell us how they feel and we will try and sort it out. The tracks will start putting up their 2017 schedules soon so we can garner some info.

Okay, just called Oasis motel, 10 rooms that share two bathrooms and are usually rented by the week. Doesn't sound too promising!!!!!

Your right wheelz, not much for ho-motels close to track. But there are a few not that far away.

And Norwalk don't interest me, I dont like big crowds and taking 3 hrs to get out of the parking lot. I usually have to "mentally prepare" myself for trip to Norwalk.
