14.4°f Cloudy. Doc. Appt. at 9, then haul a pallet of softener salt to the Church. Then run to the local HVAC/plumber distributor to hopefully order the shower drain I've been searching high & low for. 30's through the week, then some snow & low temps for the weekend, they say, for now.

Sunny here but 30. Jason shoveled yesterday and it's holding, so I don't have to go out. Win! :) bp

Morning folkz. 21/30 for the day but no more snow for a few days. Buying the snow blower was a mandatory from Sharon and as it worked out a blessing for me. With the new heart medication my pace has slowed dramatically and I can't run at 150 MPH anymore. Even with the help of that machine I overdid it on Sunday. With our doctors, dentist and other medical appointments we have been running all month and the new systems that are in place to notify you of those appointment times are no quite up to par as we went to the dentist yesterday and they didn't have us down to be there. So we did some other shopping and went to the mall to do some walking... but Sharon spied some necklaces and we stopped to buy some jewelry. I told her we are going to leave our cards and money home from now on so walking doesn't get so expensive!!!! Sharon is on jury duty for two weeks so I never know when I will be batching it from day to day. Bitter cold weather is forecasted for this weekend so we may get in the hibernation mode and watch TV. Speaking of TV when I was in the hospital I was talking to one of the male nurses about TV and he told me of that he cut the cord and dropped his $170.00 monthly bill from Dish to this plan for a basic no contract of $50.00 a month. I haven't looked into it yet but will soon. He told me that a PlayStation was not needed to have this programming. He has all the sports channels so it is up to $80.00 now. Contracted a truck for the new Mercruiser and it should be here by the middle of next week. Going to have to evict the old Mercruiser out into the elements when it gets here.

Cool electronics hack. Thanks, Jack!

Shoveled the car out of the snow today in order to go and get bloodwork done for the doctor this Friday. Nice day here.

It will get to 51 on Sunday and then be followed by a high of 19 on Monday! Yikes! We are not used to that around here! bp

Morning. Maybe that's why Gary couldn't post???? I talked to him the other night and he told me things weren't working for him to post.
34/36 for the day with snow in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday in large amounts. Sharon and I have been running around grocery shopping and going to rehab sessions for our shoulders for the last several days. We are both getting better thanks to those sessions. Yesterday I went for breakfast with my buddy and on the way we stopped to resupply his oxygen stash. We sat and talked about all the places we have been while restoring our cars and what we saw. One place the guy had stuff from Grumpy Jenkins shop and I bought several sets of knock-off tribar center caps from that collection, that same guy had an old Dodge Super Stock car, three A/FX cars, Funny car bodies, Mopar experimental heads called ball-in-head that they never produced and only one motor exists, and in another building near Pittsburgh, PA a guy had an original Tucker clock as his dad was a dealer for the ill fated car of the future and he told us his grandmother had a set of custom made luggage that was to come with a Tucker when you bought it. I know of a local guy that has one of the most unusual collections of model cars that I would estimate at a value of at least 3/4 of a million dollars. My brother and I went to see it and we both came out of there unable to talk, it was just mind boggling. Okay, back to the present Sharon and I picked up our little Lola yesterday and took her to the mall to play in the kids section for over an hour and we were wore out just watching her run around with the other children. Home for dinner and to wait on her mom as she was in a meeting for her promotion at the bank. When she came to pickup Lola her and Sharon talked till after 8:00. The new Mercruiser was picked up in Long Island, NY yesterday so it should be here soon. Will have to evict the old Mercruiser from the garage today to ready a spot for it. :D :D :D
