Howdy. Em came by last night to stay overnight. She and I went and moved some of her stuff from an old place to a new place downtown today. It's closer to us and to her work but in an "up and coming" neighborhood. But this is a girl who used to go to Detroit at night to visit jazz clubs. Met the guy who owned the house and he seemed nice. She's got more room and fewer roommates, ten minutes from work. Pretty good deal. bp
Cool deal BP. Tell Em hi for us.
9.7°f this mornin'. , but at least the wind slowed down and the sunzout'. I plan to work on the bathroom this morning, then do signs this afternoon. I have a couple 4'x8' panels to wrap that it would be nice to have an extra pair of hands with. The customer supplied 2-4'x8'x1/4" sheets of plate aluminum. I did a set for them about a year ago, but moving them around without damaging the wrap around the edges was tricky. Easier to just ask Jeff to help move them on and off the table.

Sharon's favorite commercial!!!!!!!!!! 23/54 today with sunshine and more very high winds. I had a couple of trash cans that went to Kansas to visit Dorthy and Toto while Sharon and I were at church yesterday. Drove several blocks in the direction of the wind and couldn't find them so Sayonara old friends. Sharon and I went to the lab at the hospital so that I could get my blood work done for several doctor's, over for breakfast, stopped at Wallymart for groceries and to duplicate a photo then home to put everything in the fridge. I am looking up recipes for Sharon and then we are off to do more shopping and home later to get Lola as she had no school today for the power is out all over the place from the high winds yesterday and last night. Sharon heard we have another windy weather front coming through later in the week that is to be worse than this one so I am not picking up the branches in the yard till those fronts get done. The winds are pruning my trees for me. Cool. Well it was this morning....
Night BP. I'm making slow but steady progress on the project. I flooded the shower about noon today for the hydro test. It holds about 8 gal. So far so goota'. The tide hasn't gone out yet. Sometime tomorrow I'll go down in the crawl space and hope that I don't find any wet spots.

Gary, where's the big screen TV for Cheryl???????
31/48 with rain coming later today. Went to the doctor's for a shot, stopped for breakfast then dropped our taxes off at the accountant's office. Back home and looking for wire to do the closet lights and found almost nothing I need as it is going to be a 12 volt system from the transformer to the lights. Lamp cord will do just fine but I did find a couple of boxes for the 110 volt to the transformer. Need to maybe buy a spool of lamp cord to run all the wiring to the halogen lights. We will be going to Bible study at 3:00 today and Sharon is talking of making a lemon meringue pie when we get home. YUM. Tomorrow is an appointment at the Cardiac doctor and the rest of the week is free from there on out.
Morning. 23/36 for the day with some sun but turning cloudy later. I don't put my hearing aids on in the morning when drinking my coffee while Sharon and I talk so sometimes it gets interesting as to what she says and what I hear. She told me she was going to gather up her knickknacks and put them in totes before the rug cleaners showed up next Tuesday. I interpreted that as she was going to put her knickknacks in her coats and store them away. I looked at her kind of strange and she said, "What." We had a huge laugh over that one. Life gets very interesting when you are old and have too many physical faculties at sub par level. She is off to have her nails repaired then we will do lunch and head to the cardiologist.
Mornin'. Just got back from a meet with our advisor guy. Aaaauuuummmmm.......Aaaauuuummmmm...... No not that kind of advisor.
Now I plan to get a few more tiles installed in the bathroom, then round the corners on the truck parking signs and punch grommets in them, so I can install tomorrow. Then off to small group. Not at our house this time as one of the group broke her leg on the ice (4) weeks ago and is still home bound for another (2). So we're taking the group to her. Then tomorrow, after the truck parking signs install, the rest of the day will be spent on an order that came in this morning for 90 road const. signs. Then, tomorrow night, head to Morris to celebrate J.D.'s birthday. After the festivities, I plan to run to Menards for more thinset, so the tile installation can resume on Saturday.
I'm really likin' this retirement thingy.

Hi, everyone. Made it through another work day and ready for my telework day tomorrow. Got a doc visit too. Supposed to start snowing here at midnight and keep on until noon tomorrow. Should make for an extra fun drive to Annapolis. I'd better get good news! bp
