I just went to www.bretkepnerphotos.com he was at Gateway when the recent storm rolled through and has a bunch of pics up.. go to domestic bodystyles..... gateway wed. the storm

Good Lord...that was horrible! It was nice to see the smiling faces in the aftermath, though...man, what a mess that was! Spooky...WC1

yep WC it was the crazyest weather i have ever witnessed around here !! JTP is still without power after almost 5 days...I had seen a couple pics from Bret on DRO regarding the damage and figured he had more on his site....

Damn That was a wicked storm !!!!!
Glad everyone is OK. Like Pro said cool sunset though.
I've been lucky, there have been storms roll through here and sometimes I didn't get nothing more than a few drops of rain, other times a lot of rain no damage and places 5 to 10 miles away by the way the crow flies got hit hard like GIR did.

at ^^^^ Bill ! it is still messed up around here.... now we have the reverend Al Sharpton in town revving everyone up against the utility accusing them of ignoring the poor folks

jeeez give them a break !! the had one worker DIE and another badly burned in additition to numorous minor injuries trying to get it done.... the highest per capita income nieghborhood in the state and in the top 5 of the country is still without power !!!

Sure hope Rocky is holdin' on. Tornado sirens are goin' off in Joliet as i type this for south western Joliet. That's very close to Rockdale (Center of the universe).
