Ronnie Sox was not only the greatest of the first crop of Pro Stock / A/FX drag racers, he was doing it manually in the cockpit. He had a special talent. A gift. He and the cars he drove on the dragstrip were one. As a man, he is known as one of the finest gentelmen to have walked the earth, aside from being a gracious champion and a good sport if he lost. For role models, I looked to guys like him. Losing him is a sad thing, but he left us with so many glorious, long and happy memories. It's just becoming more and more difficult to find people like him; men of his caliber. That has a lot to do with why I'm with Draglist. One of the greatest of our own kind has become part of the history book, but his memory will live forever. He isn't suffering any more. God Bless Ronnie Sox and his family. WC1
