Not that I'm not enjoying things nowadays, there just seems to be so much that changes so fast in our sport. Great thread from the Bandito.

I miss NOT having a cell phone attached to my side every day. I forgot mine one morning when I left the house and it was the greatest feeling of freedom I felt in along time!

I miss my mind the most! So I can't remember what I have missed. In fact. it left a hole in my head. One of my ears could see the other and said to the other ear, I didn't know we lived on the same block!
I try not to look back, like Lots wife. I am salty enough. However, I am looking to the future to see what I will miss when I cross the "finish line of life". All kidding aside, at my age what I have missed is too much to list here. Been in this sport for over 60 years. (You Redd it right! 60!)
By the way Julio Marra, former promoter at Aquasco Speedway (Dragway) & Capitol Raceway (Dragway) will have all of his pictures from these tracks from 1957 to 1976 on display at Old Dominion Dragstrip Aug. 22 & 23rd. Copies will made on-site and will be on sale there. Don't forget the BIG (JA) Party Saturday evening. Band, dancing, interviews, photos, women, beer and food. Be there!
Old timers remember " Too Numb To Cum", "Too Tight To Bite" & "Too Loose To Goose"? That was on the S & S cars of Gene Altizer, Fred Bear & Dave Hales. Guess which one was on which car!
