Great website

Wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Jeff and I have had drag racing in my blood forever. Thanks to my father and his good friend Selden Ruwwe, I was exposed to some of the rarest factory racecars on the planet. My father successfully raced a number of original Super Duty Pontiacs for Selden in the early 1970's to about 1981 or 1982.

Selden owned three 1962 Catalina SD cars (all were equipped with aluminum frontends - two hardtops, one sedan) and a 1963 SD Tempest (equipped with an aluminum front end too). Selden parted with the three Catalinas, but still owns the Tempest.

Selden was heavily involved in anything that dealt with Pontiac. He had a large collection of extremely low mileage Trans Ams and had a special interest in '57 Pontiacs.

Anything nostalgic, I like!!! A/FX cars, funnycars, pro stock, rods, they are are cool!

Hello!

Postby CraftyGirl » Mon Jan 11, 2010 8:12 am

Hi everyone, I recognize some of you since my hubby has been a member for awhile now. My name is Heidi and my hubby is Daryl - aka 23T - aka the crazy golf cart wheelstander guy - aka the guy who enjoys embarrassing his wife.
I've been lurking for awhile and enjoy reading your posts and thought it was time to join the group. I just wanted to say hello to you all and can't wait til spring gets here so we can all hit the track again!
Stay warm - Heidi

Welcome Heidi. Image We'll try to overlook your obvious failure, in selecting a spouse.
Best of luck, in training him. Good to see you here.

Heehee, thanks Jean. I think he's beyond the training stage but I have to say he makes life interesting!
Nice to meet you, take care.
