Sitting between two trailers on a warm August day in '78, Howard Haight warms one of the last competitive Chevy Fuelers, the vaunted "Hemi Hunter."

I remember this pic well cause of the stagnant air and the sound reverberating between those trailers. God, it was awesome! Nose stinging, eyes watering, ears ringing, you couldn't have pulled me outta there with a tractor.

To this day I'm still one of those weirdoes who moves from pit to pit during Nitro warm ups to get my fix.
