Drag Racing Story of the Day!

"Name that Strip" and Win a Free Video

By Ed O'Connell

8/22/01 - Contest over! We have a winner in our Name the Strips contest. Dennis Stahlnecker of Omaha, Nebraska, correctly named New England Dragway, Sanair, Quebec, and Santa Pod, England, as the three mystery strips photographed by Ed O'Connell. Dennis selected our Match Race Chicago Style video as his prize. Thanks to all who sent in submissions. We will look into doing this again soon...

-----

Hi everyone. Ed O'Connell sent along these cool "mystery strip" photos to see if he could trip up Draglist readers. I think they give me a great opportunity to have a contest! So here goes, the first reader to guess all three strips correctly gets a free Drag Racing Yesteryear video of their choice.

Check out http://www.draglist.com/raceplace/rrvideo.htm to read about the videos. I will select the first correct response by the date and time the email comes in. And now, on with the mystery photos... bp

Name that strip 1... Thought this one would kick off my "can you name that strip" series. I have many more mystery strip photos, so let me know if you want to see them.
