Here's a fast briefing on the third FIA (European championships) race and how we did with our Top Fuel car.
We started out with a test run Friday with our new clutch. We ran a 5.36, which was OK. Next run, the crank breaks and takes the block - BAD, BAD! Lots of work Friday evening.
Saturday we made three runs: 5.34, 5.32, and 5.31. We looked more like bracket
racers than Top Fuel racers!

On Sunday, we had to meet Anita Makela from Finland. We beat her with a 5.30. Next, we met Britain's Barry Sheavills and took him out with a 5.21. In the finals, we met Mikael Kågered of Sweden. On the burnout, my car shot out a spark plug, so we ran the final on seven cylinders. Still we got him with a 5.36 (on seven cylinders)!
So, team USA AUTOPARTS Kim Reymond from DENMARK was the winner of the
third FIA event run at Mantorp Park in Sweden. Check out our website for more info.
