Some of the most fun I ever had as a 17-18 year old kid was pulling the "Wheeler Dealer" back from its burnouts! Bruce Wheeler and I'd be really tugging at that bad boy to get it back to the line. Meanwhile it's snorting and popping, belching out nitro and flames, and trying to pull us down the track. Shooooot, it never got better than that -- especially at night, header flames TOWERING over your head... Every sense was on overload: sight, smell, sound, taste, touch, damn, even the ground was shakin'! I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it!
