World Nationals
NORWALK, OHIO - Clay Millican rewarded new sponsor eAuto.com with the top
qualifying position at the IHRA Mopar Parts World Nationals presented by Ethanol
at Norwalk Raceway Park. Millican's 4.710 at 310 miles per hour leads the field,
with Bruce Litton second quickest with a 4.775 at 302.69 miles per hour.
In Mopar Performance Pro Modified, the Stott Brothers played out a high
horsepower sibling rivalry. For the third consecutive race, Quain enters final
eliminations as the top seeded Pro Modified by edging out his brother Mitch with
a quicker mile per hour. Both recorded a 6.324 elapsed time, with Quain's faster
222.80 mile per hour securing the top spot. Current points leader Fred Hahn
failed to qualify for the program.
