Pro Nitro Series to Share the Gate with "Racer Partners"

Pro Nitro Tucson Update: Front Engine Pro Nitro series organizer Jerry Hutchcroft has announced that the 7.60 index Blown Bad Boy class field size will be increased to either 24 or 32 cars if that many cars show up to race. The 7.20 index BBB class will remain as a 12 car qualified field for Tucson. The Blown Bad Boy class is open to any year or type of front engine race cars and blowers are optional. The 4 race 2001 Pro Nitro series will crown Champions and a cash award will be paid in all 4 of the Pro classes, which are Top Fuel, Nostalgia Fuel Altereds, 7.20 and 7.60 Blown Bad Boys. 

The Pro Nitro series has no posted purse amount, but payouts start in the first round for all qualified cars in the BBB classes. All nitro cars entered will receive some payout money even if they don't qualify for the "Modified Chicago" 3rd and Finals Round. Payouts are 100% based on ticket sales up to the first 4000 tickets sold. When a Pro Nitro event sells more than 2500 tickets, the payouts will be the best they've ever been at a Pro Nitro event. When they sell 4000 tickets, the nitro class event winners will each receive as much as $4000 and the Blown Bad Boy wins will pay as much as $1900 (7.20) and $1600 (7.60) and remember, payouts start in round one. PLUS, Pro Nitro Partner members receive free team tickets and there is NO race fee in any of the 4 Pro classes.
