September 9, 2002. Today marks the 25th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest racers in the history of drag racing -- Russell James "Jungle Jim" Liberman. Jungle Jim had it all. He was respected by his peers, he was loved by his fans, and he will be remembered forever.
