This was the last non-nostalgia slingshot Top Fueler to race with the rear engine cars. The Medicine Man of Mickey Naylor raced in England as late as 1978. The car was said to be the former Dennis Priddle dragster. The Medicine Man met an unfortunate end when the car went into a powerstand and flipped over at Santa Pod. Naylor got the car to run a 6.55 at 207 with a Donovan before the accident. A new rear engine car replaced this machine.
