NEOPMA RETURNS TO ATCO DRAGWAY OCTOBER 18TH FOR THE NEOPMA FINALS

2014 CHAMPION TO BE DETERMINED AND CROWNED

(10-13-2014) Atco, NJ – The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods, (NEOPMA) move onto their final event of 2014, the “Atco Dragway NEOPMA Finals” October 18th. You won’t want to miss some of the fastest quarter mile Pro Mods in the country competing on the famed surface, and look for the 2014 Champion to be crowned and some five second Pro Mod runs at the Atco New Jersey Facility.

2012 NEOPMA Champion Fredy Scriba holds a razor thin 41 point margin in the points chase over Dwayne Wolfe with New York’s own Craig Pio in third and still in contention. With Several NEOPMA Pro Mods running in the 5.90’s last month at Atco, this final event for NEOPMA for 2014 should be outstanding, and with the Championship on the line and Teams jockeying for position to be in the top ten should have teams swinging for the fences.

Current top ten teams in points going into this weekend’s NEOPMA 2014 Finals:

1. Fredy Scriba 1897, 2. Dwayne Wolfe 1856, 3. Craig Pio 1661, 4. Ed Burnley 1397, 5. Angela Ray 1241, 6. Steve Kramer 1223, 7. Dean Marinis 1016, 8. Gary Courtier 998, 9. Kevin McCurdy 869, 10. Tommy Gray 839.

Atco Dragway’s fans love doorslammer racing, and NEOPMA is building a relationship with those fans with their ability to put on a great events with fast side by side quarter mile drag racing, and open access to all teams and their pits. Look for 16+ teams to compete for one the sixteen elimination spots. See Nitrous, Blowers, and Turbos competing against one another in the ¼ mile, with only one Champion crowned in the end.

As always track Manager Joe Sway Sr. says he will prep the track for “Maximum Traction,” and Joe is always true to his word, so 5.90’s will not be out of the question.

“The relationship with Atco Dragway is long in history. We look to hopefully grow and continue this relationship by showing the Atco Dragway Owners and Management the NEOPMA is the Real Deal. We feel the fans will show their support for the track and racers by filling the stands”, states John Mazzorana of the NEOPMA.

The NEOPMA would like to thank all the sponsors below, Pro Mod Teams and Crews, Tracks and Fans who support the ¼ Mile Pro Mod series
