World’s Fastest Street Cars Take Over Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis Next Weekend!
14th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals brings all-American drag racing, huge car show, manufacturers midway, burnout contests and more!
Santa Ana, Calif. (June 12, 2015) – The 14th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals are coming to Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis June 18-21 with all-American drag racing, huge all-American car show on the weekend, giant manufacturers midway and more! This national event brings out the best-of-the-best in the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series for a motorsports show that has something for everyone. Everything from classic Chevrolet Camaros to Ford Mustang GTs and Dodge Challengers will be heading to the drag strip to compete for big prizes. The event features over 15 classes including Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Stainless Works Street Outlaw, Edelbrock Xtreme Street, Magnafuel Open Comp and more.
The VP Racing Fuels Pro Mod class promises to offer some of the best racing of the season thus far at the upcoming NMCA Muscle Car Nationals featuring the Chevrolet Performance Shootout at Lucas Oil Raceway. The track at Indianapolis is known for producing some incredible speeds and numbers in all classes, but a lot of eyes will be on the speed demons in Pro Mod. This race is attracting several stars of the NMCA WEST who are looking to mix it up in Indy – meaning this race will offer the largest field this season of these five-second 250+ mph machines.
Scott Oksas, Rick Snavely and Greg Seth-Hunter are all hitting the road next week to race at the historic Lucas Oil Raceway. “I can’t wait to get out there and race, ” said Snavely, who recently won the JE Pistons NMCA West Coast Shootout over Seth-Hunter. “It will be great to see how this car will run on a track like Indy. I know it will be a blast for me and the crew to get out there,” he said.
This year’s NMCA event in Indianapolis will feature the 9th Annual Chevrolet Performance Shootout for LS and modern LT-powered cars.This is the largest gathering of drag racers with Chevrolet LS-powered racecars in the world as the event also includes a huge all LS-powered car show as well. Enthusiasts and car owners come from all across the country to race or show at this event that has huge purses with over $50,000 in cash and prizes.
