Throughout his more than half-century in the sport, Ray built and drove some of the most awesome machines that ever set their slicks on the strip. My commentary will focus on Drag Racing and Rock ‘n Roll, and how the two are one and the same. For my segment’s Racer of the Week, I have selected James Wilson, Sr., from Milan, Illinois. James’ beautiful ’63 Corvette Super Gas Racer is an outstanding hot rod, and I’m looking forward to featuring James in my segment!
