Bill McDaniel, who partnered with Dick Rosberg and Don Novak on the Fighting Irish funny cars of the late 70s and early 80s, passed away on October 9, 2015. When the team converted to jet cars, Bill joined Dick behind the wheel of one of their two Stroh’s sponsored machines and thrilled fans from coast to coast.
