15th Annual Quick Fuel Technology NMCA Bluegrass Nationals takes over Beech Bend Raceway Park during weekend of May 12-15!
Santa Ana, Calif. (April 14, 2016) – The 15th Annual Quick Fuel Technology NMCA Bluegrass Nationals is coming to Beech Bend Raceway Park on May 12-15 with wild heads up drag racing, a giant all-American car show, TV stars from Discovery’s Street Outlaws and more! Hot Rod City USA will be rocking and rolling courtesy of the World’s Fastest Street Cars from the National Muscle Car Association!
The 2016 NMCA Muscle Car Nationals season, presented by E3 Spark Plugs, has been one of the best. In the first two events, records have already been broken in several classes, providing some of the most exciting racing in the country. And as one of the most competitive tracks on the NMCA circuit, Beech Bend Raceway is sure to keep that trend going as it’s known for producing some of the quickest times. Over the weekend, this thrilling racing action is matched with a giant all-American car show on both Saturday and Sunday, huge manufacturers’ midway, swap meet and burnout contest… it’s the best value in motorsports! For the first time ever at an NMCA event, meet celebrities Scott Taylor and Brandon Smith from the hit TV show Street Outlaws: New Orleans. Taylor, with his turbocharged ’92 Olds Cutlass called “John Doe”, and Smith with his ’01 Mustang “LSKilr”, will be available on Saturday and Sunday to meet fans and sign autographs. New for 2016, the Holley EFI Factory Super Cars class has already delivered some of the best racing in the series with COPO Camaros, Cobra Jet Mustangs and Drag Pak Challengers competing in a heads up format on the quarter-mile. The 11th Annual Dave Duell Classic for racers in the ATI Performance Products Nostalgia Super Stock class is the largest NSS race in the country, with one of the biggest purses. All racers compete for a chance to stand in the Aerospace Components Winners Circle on Sunday afternoon. One-day adult spectator tickets are $25 and include free parking and free pit access.
