To help celebrate Toyota’s title sponsorship move to this weekend’s NHRA Sonoma Nationals, drag racing artist Kenny Youngblood was called upon to create a very special piece of artwork. “Toyota wanted to spotlight all ten of their team drivers,” says Youngblood, who combined portraits of each into a wine-country themed poster.
“In lieu of signing the regular giveaway at the Toyota driver’s autograph sessions the posters will be handed down the line for each driver to sign, with Kenny at the end to add his signature,” says Toyota display manager, Clint Bailey, who added: “This poster is a real collectible as it will only be available at the event, and those given away at the autograph sessions will be signed by all ten drivers.”
Fans can pick up their super sized, 24×36 inch NHRA Toyota Sonoma Nationals poster at the Toyota display on Manufacturers Row, this weekend at Sonoma Raceway. Reigning Top Fuel and Funny Car Champions Antron Brown and Del Worsham, as well as Toyota drivers Chad Head, Doug Kalitta, Richie Crampton, Cruz Pedregon, Alexis DeJoria, J.R. Todd, Morgan Lucas and Shawn Langdon will be on hand Friday and Saturday, to sign these one of a kind souvenirs.
