Coming up Monday, October 24th, 2016, for JB’s Pick as Racer of the Week, I have selected Tony Plumb, from Moline, Illinois. I met Tony on the Quad Cities Drag Racers page while I was involved in a discussion about the World Series of Drag Racing’s current situation.
Tony is a popular and well-known drag racer in the Quad Cities area; he races "The Mean Mistress" ’66 Chevy Nova in the Super Pro Class, and his beautiful car was a Top 30 winner in the Hampton Days Celebration Car & Motorcycle Show for 2016. I am looking forward to featuring Tony in my segment on October 17th!
